On Your Knees. I Want You To Beg For Forgiveness - Sephiroth

=) Nice, it seems Mathieu gets a lot of joy in making fun of Colin. At least Colin was a good sport about it, but it would have been nice to know his expression as he watched Mathieu and the girl walk away.
This adds some tension release to the story, makes the story seem like it could have really happened. I don't know, I'm much better at critquing art.

Nice drawing, Mathieu is very nice looking despite the scar, it gives him some character. How did he get it, by taking a girl from some one who did not find it amuzing?

Hehe, the next installment will literally start where this one ended, so you will get to know what Colin's reaction is!

I find you have to balance the seriousness of any story with some light hearted moments or it gets really really bogged down!

The purpose behind this scene is to take Colin's character away from being the dark brooding man syndrome. He's actually quiet light hearted despite having a lot of things bearing down on him. Also to establish the nature of the brotherhood between the warriors.

Mathieu as a bard, will poke fun at anyone he thinks he can get away with it with. However, bing a warrior as well, he's tactful about it. He knows how to play to the audience he's performing for, and knows what he can get away with. That will become more evident as time goes on.

I decided on the scar because while I was going for manly, he's still quite pretty so it was meant to give character! YAY for it working! I haven't decidedon a reason behind the scar.

If a few people tell me why they think its there, I might write something in about it later.

Hehe -- chicks dig scars... :giggle:

The insert of the woman kinds of reminds me of something that happened one year when I was at the Sterling Ren. Faire. Two of the actors were spouting something about dueling for the privledge of a lady's favor, and me and my group had stopped to watch them carry on. When the actors looked for a volunteer, I shifted to the back to avoid getting picked, forgetting that there was still one guy behind me who was signaling to the actors by pointing down at me from above to be chosen. Granted, I didn't end up going off with a bard at the end, but you get the point... :ohmygod:

I can't wait to see what Collin will do, now... :plotting:

Hahah, not a problem. Took me a moment to see it and probably wouldn't have noticed at all if I didn't know the story behind it! :D
