The Stormby *sraointe

Don't think this would work well as a print as it has quite a bit of noise but it was an awesome picture of a storm brewing over Calgary. Taken from my office window.
This storm ALMOST brewed a few tornados. It was amazing! Calgary doesn't really get any natural disasters other than flooding.

This day was freaky. It we literally had these huge black clouds rolling in under these bright white ones. The dark crowds were dropping tiny funnel clouds left, right, and centre! We don't get tornados here, but we almost had a touch down this day, right in the middle of downtown!

Well thank you! It was amazing. We actually saw the start of several twisters. Calgary doesn't get tornados, when they come through Alberta, they veer off before they get to Calgary.
Several people in my office were frightened by what they were seeing. I was snapping pictures and going "Oooooohhhhhhh!"

It was a beauty! And being as high up as we are here in Calgary, the clouds were so close that it was amazing!

Gah! One of my dreams is to be high in the mountains as a storm rolls in. I just think it would be so amazing to watch things develop from above! But, that's my nerdiness kicking in.
