My idea of Sephiroth from Final Fantasy 7 (Crisis Core, Advent Children, whatever) I've been a fan for over 10 years now.
As for yet another update on this...What can I say, I'm a perfectionist.
Alright, I can't possibly think of anything else I could do to this!
If you've favourited OTHER versions of this of course please keep the one you like the most, I HARDLY expect people to favourite all of them!

Couple little things about the pic:
1. No restraint on the end of the chain because it took away from the image and made it a bit too intimidating for the common veiwer in my opinon. Just a bit too intense.
2. Black because his eyelashes are, that's why.
3. White bed sheet because it actually looked a lot cooler than black (you won't hear me say that often)
4. Minor changes to the hair by the face, I think it worked out much better.
5. A LOT of detail doesn't show up here, and you'll only see it in the downloaded version. It SHOULD be desktop sized (ish), it works on mine at least. (my husband must really love me to let me keep this as the desktop on the livingroom computer!)
6. Looks much better on newer monitors. This doesn't look half so good on my work monitor because its very dark.
7. Return to the less animebody frame, which was there orginally. I thinned him out a little before but decided to go back when reworking the muscles.
8. Light Source - Multiple. Front upper left, obvious pale light source in background from window.

For anyone new to this image, its a refined image of You'll Thank Me Later - Refined....which was a refined image of You Thank Me Later, which is coloured from Sephiroth (a sketch)......wheeze. Alright, I THINK I'm done now.

Evol. It wouldn't let me put Evolution. I figured that's what it is considering this is the third rendition of this! Stupid maximum size of the titles!
Now that I think about it, it makes me look like I mispelled Evil! Heheehe.

Thank you. Bah, perfectionism, means I can never be done with anything...EVER. Hehehe :)

I also intensified the colours , added a silver tassle back there on the left, changed the way the hair fell around his face (which involved some buildling of parts of the face like the lips and chin which weren't visable before.) Cleaned up the coat so it has a defined collar now, intensified and slightly changed the colour of the eyes...ahhhh...I think I did other stuff as well, I can't remember what though.

I thought it was finished before, but this definitely looks better. I can see now that the pants had no depth to them previously, and the curtains definitely have a softer feel with a little bit of highlighting. I see you also added the chains to the bedpost, and a sheet. But one thing I was quite glad to see was that you darkened the sides of his torso. He looks much more three dimensional now. =)

And you added pubes...you naughty girl you. xD

Hahahah! Yes I certainly did add the pubes. There are at least some parts of a man's body that should have hair...well kept hair but hair none the less! I actually debated with myself about colour for a while on that one. Funny enough!

My husband pointed out the torso thing before and I figured that I'd wait on fixing that until the next version. I was also originally going to add the chains but never did it, held off on the second version and just went for it on the third. Was GOING to put a restraint on it then realized that was one of the first places my eye fell and its not supposed to be the focus of the image!

The colours I was disappointed with in the first one, they are supposed to be intense but to get it to show right originally I had to lighten everything. I found the way around that by reading DA's frequently asked questions. WOOT! I loves the bold colours.

I almost feel remiss for not putting fire in there somewhere. Fire IS a Sephiroth thing after all.

Oh, interesting point! Are they black? Are they silver? Maybe I should zoom in more! xD

As far as the fire thing goes, I think anything more than a candle on a nightstand or an oil burning lamp-sconce on the wall would be a bit of overkill. I mean, if I recall correctly, you wanted this to say "I'm going to do something to you and you're going to enjoy it," not "My house is on fire but let's DO EET."

My boyfriend actually seemed to think that the abs were a bit off. The top few pairs don't seem to line up and the bottom of the rib cage should curve down around the abs on either side and cause us to not see them stretching around his flank on his left side. I've probably explained that poorly, but you know how the abs always seem to be inside an oval shape? I'm horrendous at drawing shirtless men anyhow, and I may have detected a hint of jealousy in his criticism. =P

Overall, very sexy, very intense piece! :clap:
