1,000 Watchers? Well, Almost I am so thrilled to be approaching 1,000 watchers! It humbles me to know that many people want to see what I'm up to. That, and I'm a Leo so it's really good for my ego.

I won't lie, I squee over that number going up.
On top of this, I'm looking at the MapLoco map I put up on my main page only 4 months ago, and am blown away. Other than Africa, pretty much everywhere is filling in. Well, I'm not counting Greenland or Iceland here either. Canada would look scarce to any of you who don't realise that we pretty much all cram against the border. It's cold up there in that there north country!
So far, we're looking at 1131 places plotted out in just 4 months!
My AdCast ExperienceAbout a week ago, I purchased 60,000 impressions on the main DA page. Mostly, I was just curious to see what the results would be, but also to give it a test run to see if I wanted to try to use it to promote my Lost Infernal site www.lostinfernal.com. By the end, I'd gotten about 62,000 impressions, which was awesome to get some extra.
Now, with marketing so many things can effect it that I can't say that it wasn't effectual. It did bring in watchers (hello those of you who clicked the link, I love you). It did raise my daily pageviews on my main DA page about 5 times. The clicks per number of impressions were a little disappointing, but really, I can't complain. For the amount of money they ask versus what other people ask, it was worth the money.
Lost InfernalToday, I sent out my query letter to the agent who I really want. That is, I had a talk with her assistant and found out I should send it to her, so that's what I did. Very pleasent English lady. So that query letter is now on it's way to Writers House, specifically to Merrilee Heifetz's office. Ms. Heifetz is the agent for authors such as Laurell K. Hamilton and Neil Gaiman. I would be HONOURED to even have her ask for the first three chapters.
We'll see. Responce time is 6 - 8 weeks. I'm holding off sending other queries until then, essentially giving Ms. Heifetz the Right of First Refusal. I hate that term, it sounds so negative!
At this point, I'm running around trying to get the website name out everywhere I can.
For those who don't know, I am planning for Lost Infernal to be a series. Currently, I've written the first book and am starting to map out number two and three. I have no idea how many books I`d like to see it become, but I`ll write it until the story is done and no longer. I don`t believe in writing a story sheerly for profit. When someone writes sheerly for the profit of it, you can tell.
New Works Coming - And the Calgary Expo For those of you who are new, I'll be attending the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo as an exhibitor. I seriously post information about it everywhere! All of my drawings pretty much have it in the description.
To that end, my goal is to do another 8 images between now and the end of March. Print runs for selected works will be made in early April based off views and favourites seen here.
So 8 more images, those will primarily be coming from that list I compiled from you guys . . . hmm . . .I better get busy!
Its gonna be so cool when you get Lost Infernal published!
And I'll totaly see you at the comic expo XD I know a couple of people who are running tables there~
What is that Right of First Refusal all about?
